Here's a good reason to avoid medications. Eat naturally and exercise well. Take care of yourself and you shouldn't have any reason for pharmaceuticals. Most of the time, they just mask the problem but bring on a slew of other symptoms that need more medication to mask. Avoid it! You'll be happier!

With These Low Rates, Refinance!!! What Are You Waiting For?
The economy is still gradually improving day by day, and that may mean that you are making more money now!
Or maybe not...
If you are in need of lower monthly mortgage payments, now would be an excellent time to refinance! Sure, you've heard the rumors about mortgage rates being lower than ever, but did you know that they really are setting some records? This week, the 15-year fixed mortgage rate hit an average of 2.56% which is the lowest it has ever been!! And the 30-year rate isn't far behind! Its current record-low is 3.31% and it is currently averaging a cool 3.35%!
I know that I'm not currently in a good position to buy a home nor do I have one to refinance, but I cannot sit idly by while these epicly low rates are around! So here I am urging all of you awesome blog readers out there to seek out a great loan officer to help you lower your payments so you can have more cash in your pocket every month!
Not sure where to start? Well, firstly, I'd recommend that you visit Crosscountry Mortgage's website. I personally know that this company is ran by a bunch of hard-working professionals that will cater to your every need and ensure that you get the best deal possible. In fact, if you have any questions, hit the chat button in the bottom right corner and one of the experts in the office will reply to you live! Or call 888-883-5252.
Best wishes to all of you!

I know this stuff??
As you may or may not know, my husband and I work for a company called Quest Loans. We're in charge of their online presence and the marketing of it. (Yes, this may or may not be a small self-promotion, but that's okay.)
A thought occurred to me today as I was checking my email. I read the article headline:"Build, Contract and Maintain: FHFA's Plans for GSEs in 2013" and knew what it was about. Then I paused. I understand all of this mortgage and business news stuff now.
I've been composing blog content for over a year now. I'm in no position to purchase a home and therefore have no need for a home loan, but I know all about it. Never in a million years would I have guessed that I'd understand all these things.
Suddenly, I'm up to date in the financial world. Weird!
Just my thought of the morning. Now, I'm off to write another article. Check out my work here.

2 minute poem
As the snow falls
Many thoughts arise
I wander these halls
With tears in my eyes.
You never really knew
You never really saw
Over your head, my words flew
But still I was in awe.
As my heart is breaking,
You go your merry way
Always my love taking,
Never do you say:
I love you
I need you
Many thoughts arise
I wander these halls
With tears in my eyes.
You never really knew
You never really saw
Over your head, my words flew
But still I was in awe.
As my heart is breaking,
You go your merry way
Always my love taking,
Never do you say:
I love you
I need you

Audrey
Now that we got Netflix, I've been obsessing over old hollywood movies. I've mostly been watching Audrey Hepburn's movies. I understand now why she's been such a style icon. Love her!! Here's some photos I liked. /Random

True Rebel Clothing and Accessories
I wanted to share with you this awesome little Etsy shop called True Rebel Clothing and Accessories. They describe themselves as "Great funky Gypsy Cowgirl chic clothing with a twist of Boho chic." Their online shop says "Our items are either organic cottons that have been hand dyed, and then repurposed, or vintage finds that we have revamped to make it a current treasure."
I love most of the items that they share on their Facebook Fan Page but sadly, I have yet to be able to afford anything. Here is an example of a skirt that they made that I would love to own:
I am not associated with this brand but I love what they do and wanted to share. I hope you check them out!

I'm a National Novel Writing Month Winner!
I did it! I participated in this years National Novel Writing Month or NaNoWriMo as it is fondly called.. The objective is "30 days and nights of literary abandon" with a goal of 50,000 words within the month of November. This was my first year participating and I was nervous about it but I started strong and although I had a few bad days, I kicked my novel's butt! Today alone I wrote 5,473 words to push me over the goal. The story isn't concluded yet but I'm sitting at 51,848 words right now.
I submitted it to the official website and they declared me a winner!! I wanted to share! Its exciting since I have a hard time following through with tasks I start and I haven't written in over 10 years!
If you occasionally write, you should think about joining next year!

Classic Hollywood
The lovely Audrey Hepburn photographed in pink in 1957. I love her classic style.
Natalie Wood donning a pretty yellow dress in 1956. I love the necklace!
Marilyn Monroe on the set of The Prince and the Showgirl, 1957
Beautiful Vivien Leigh as Scarlett O'Hara in Gone with the Wind. Her eyes said so much!

"Ghosts of World War 2" Photos of the Past in the Present
We all know that there have been two world wars and that they took place in cities that still exist today. Most of us cannot imagine it. You may have stood in a place that once had a battle or marching troops but since it was so far in the past, you probably didn't fully understand it.
Someone took the time to photoshop old war photos into a modern day picture of the same place. It is called "Ghosts of World War 2" and I found it interesting. History related things like this always strike my fancy, and adding photography makes it share worthy. Here is the link if you want to view the entire album.
Here is a preview photo so you can see what I am talking about:

National American Indian Heritage Month
Did you know that November is National American Indian Heritage Month? I wanted to take the time to honor and remember the Native Americans of the past.
I also want to share with you my father's company. He wants to help today's Native American generations benefit by qualifying for the money-saving Section 184 program.
He calls it the "Dream Maker" program because it allows American Indians who qualify to finally purchase their dream home. If you'd like more information, call Todd at 505-918-1028. He can help you find a home in New Mexico and Colorado.
